A Halvorsen 32 Gourmet Cruiser — serious construction, beautiful teak woodwork, and a layout closer to an apartment on the water than a sportsboat. It is built for comfort and seaworthiness on the coast. It has been professionally maintained and systematically upgraded between 2021 and 2025. Both engines get an annual major service of oils, filters and full inspection, and in 2023 the propellers, shafts, engine mounts and water-lubricated shaft bearings were all replaced. All six heat exchangers were cleaned in 2021 and the seawater pumps refurbished in 2022. Every year the hull is polished, antifouled and re-anoded, the teak is cleaned and oiled, and the woodwork has been sanded and re-varnished. Also included: Treadmaster non-slip coating on deck and flybridge (2021) · renovated bathing platform (2024) · new teak steps on the flybridge stairs · flybridge right-hand throttle lever repaired (2025)
